The Lad Formerly Known As..

Just a quick note on this bait - it is *so* long and *so* complicated I didn't want to publish it, because I was scared it was too much work, and that it would be so long that nobody would want to read it. What I am going to do when I publish is keep it simple, just for ease of putting it all together. So the format will be pretty easy, I think. I will keep the text all black for the most part, but I will put a ----------- line in between each email. My text is centred, his text is left justified. When other characters come in, I will make them a different colour. Narratives will be in bold maroon text. I may highlight text that is funny or important in italics or bold.

Because this was my first bait and I didn't really know too much, I used some famous faces, I hope none of them mind too much. I am a huge Guy Sebastian fan, and he features heavily in this bait (what a great excuse to look at pics of him, huh?) and my lad advised me that he loved Usher, so Chrisd234 stepped in and played the role. Also, I needed an accountant later on in the bait, and Callum did some amazing work for me - he is now the accountant for all my husbands! Superbad made me an incredible photo, and Master Shake helped out with a great DHL receipt. I can't thank all my fellow baiters enough because this bait would never have been the same (or worked as well) without them.

A lot has changed since I first published this bait. I no longer am allowed to be a part of 419eater. Today, I go to the Record Company to talk about my album, in particular the cover. They want something that is going to catch people's attention. So they sent me to hair and make up, and we took a few shots of me in a very skimpy bikini outfit and then stood me on top of the roof to take these shots. They put them on a cd for me to bring home. I send one to you, what do you think? It was very cold outside, they were blowing a fan on me and I was freezing. They think this shot would sell plenty of cds. I think I would like to be wearing more clothes, but I put a lot of work into my body and if it will sell more cds, then I should use it. Do you think so? I am going back in a few days to take some more shots. They have decided to try some "stranger" things but they do not tell me what. I heard them talking about a snake. This scares me very much. If you are calling me, I have had a look at world times, and when you get to Nigeria it will be best to call me at 10:30am-1pm Nigeria time. My schedules are completely upside down at the moment while I record this cd, I get up about 1:30 in the morning, do my house things for a couple of hours, and then go into the studio around 4:00am for a 4:30 start. I suppose that is ok, and it could be worse, I could have got drawn the short straw and got the 10pm-4:30 am slot. I am there from 4:30am to 11am, then I go and have a small salad snack and then I go to the gym to do my workouts. I am there for a couple of hours, and then to home for a good swim in the pool. Then I usually meet a couple of my friends for a proper salad lunch, maybe some shopping and then get home around 6-7pm to go to bed and start another day.
Recording a cd sounds really easy. But it isn't. The track I played you yesterday, I think it is great, but it is yet to pass the approval of the "record nazi" we like to call him. He listens to the song with me there in the room, and tells me all the words I have to go back and change. We record all of this for future reference. I might have got the intonation wrong, or the tone, or the word needs more emphasis on a particular syllable. So back I go, to sing it all over again.
To put it truthfully, it can be a bit of a bitch.
On the subject of things bitchy, I turned on my computer and was looking at your photo today, when we had a power blackout. When I turned my computer back on afterwards, the file is corrupt. If I am honest with you, I have a terrible memory for faces, which is why I was looking at your photo. But now I start to forget your face. Can you send me another picture? When you have time?

He calls me before he gets on the "flight" and I told him how worried I was about him flying and then started to go on about how dangerous it was and talked about other plane crashes - if I can dig out the audio I will put it up here.
