My First Husband.

What I am going to do when I publish is keep it simple, just for ease of putting it all together. So the format will be pretty easy, I think. I will keep the text all black for the most part, but I will put a ----------- line in between each email. My text is centred, his text is left justified. When other characters come in, I will make them a different colour. Narratives will be in bold maroon text. I may highlight text that is funny or important in italics or bold.

And now, it is time for another longer email. Just to keep him busy, and also to flesh out my character a little more. There is also one important point in here which I will bold for you.

Hi Baby!

Firstly, the photo shoot went very well. I have many nice pictures to send you. But, I will not send them all at once, because that would be boring. Or, it would be much more exciting for you to get one every so often, than all at once. :)

I have to tell you when they brought out the snake I was *terrified* but I think the shot looks very good, although not like me at all. The snake was fantastic, I might like to get one for a pet now. I thought it would be nasty but it seemed to like me and wasn't cold and slimy like I thought it would be. I don't know what they were thinking with the purple stuff around my eyes, but my stylist Sienna thinks it is fantastic.

There was a lot of different set ups and for each one there was half an hour or more of hair and make up. I am *exhausted* and I still have to go to the studio today. After that, I am coming home and going straight to bed. And the last one they did put *loads* of knots in my hair, it will take me forever to fix it.

I have to be honest with you - they can do almost anything with hair and makeup these days. I looked *really* bad in real life. After everything that happened my eyes were all red and my face was puffy. But the shots look good. And, they can do anything with hair. As in, stick in a weave, which can be just for thickening, or to make it really long. Or chuck on a blonde wig, or even a scary coloured wig, and I don't look like me anymore.

Or, they want to make me look Latino, they put on some bronzer. They want to make me look African-American, they put on some heavier makeup, all over. They want to make it look like I am covered in diamonds, they put some greasy glittery stuff all over me - and I was *naked* literally for that shot. As in wearing *nothing* but you can't tell, thankfully.. :) I agreed to do it, after my stylist convinced me. Plus my team is all female, so I wasn't worried.

I would prefer a shot on my album cover that doesn't look like me, so people won't recognise me. As nice as that bikini shot I have sent you may be, it probably looks the closest to what I really look like.

So I will tell you of some of the set ups they did. But I want to do it in order to give you an idea how long my day was.

Hair, Makeup, to the outside for some "natural" shots. Pfft. Natural, if you could see them in color, you'd see I have more makeup on than the neighbourhood drag queen. You can even pick up some of it in the black and white shots.Hair, makeup, red bikini. This is the shot where I look least like the person I know as me. Too much make up, and plenty of bronzer. and they stick a fake belly button piercing on.Hair, makeup, crazy green wig, handbag, rollerskates. It is at this point I begin to question my sanity. I am thinking of you when they take these shots. Can you tell? :) Hair, makeup, snakes. Eek, this is the shot I add to this mail today. Like I said, the purple eye look - I have no idea what this is about. Fashion, or something. Back to hair and makeup. They add some hair to my head by sewing it in, so it looks like I have long, straight hair. They stick me in a crazy pink outfit with some of the most insane shoes I have ever seen, bright pink boots. You don't even see my face in this photo. This I like. More hair - this time some curly, and of course makeup. They have this magical stuff that makes your hair look blonde, it comes out of this like mascara wand thing. No, I didn't change the color of my hair, it washes out. Before the next photo, even. I'm half naked in this shot. Outfit change, hair wash hair curling and then they take me to a movie set for the next shot. The shoes were impossible to walk in - they put them on after I lay down.

Back to hair and makeup - they wet my hair and put this greasy glittery stuff in it, and then all over me. At least, Sienna did the back of me. I did the front. We're good friends, so it's ok. They drape some real diamonds on me too, but these are barely noticeable compared to my *enormous* breast that I appear to be hanging onto for dear life.. And yes, they are real, although they don't look like it in this shot. :)

I's almost time for me to go to the studio, and I have not heard from you :(

If I can be honest with you again, I would never have agreed to the nudity if I didn't know that I could send these to you for you to look at. A bikini is fine. Naked is different. But I thought you would like them.

I'm sorry I'm so tired! I wanted to say more things but I have to try and sing today and I'm scared I won't have any voice left.

Today I am going to sing a special song for you. It's called Butterfly. I wrote it today while in hair and makeup. So it is a *really* long song. just joking, it is not too long. It is about you. I hope you will like it, and when you call me tomorrow, I will play it for you. If I sing it well, only. If it sounds bad I won't even bring it home..

The time you rang me is almost right, but if you could make it about an hour earlier, that would work out the best with my schedule. Only if you can do that, of course.

This is what I spent so long writing before you called me.. I send it now even thouugh I told you most of it, and reply to your other mail.

The telephone company still haven't set up calling out from my phone, but when I get to Sydney I will call you from the hotel, ok?

I had a meeting today with BMG, as my cd is almost ready to be finalised. I've recorded enough tracks, although I wrote a couple more since you came into my life that I want to put on the cd now, which means a bit more work. But we're almost there.

BMG want me to go to Australia. Not in a few months, but *right* now. I have to get to the studio tonight and put down these last two tracks, and then some crazed packing and organizing, then I'm on a plane. They want me to support my friend Guy Sebastian's tour, which starts on the 15th of November because the original support act can't make it. It's going to be a really busy time, and I might not catch you too much - but they have promised me that the hotels I will stay in will have international dialling, and I can call you a few times and they will pay! Oh my god, I am so terrified, though. I have never flown before. And what if they don't like my singing?

I have agreed to do this, on the condition that they give me a month off in February (that is the earliest they would agree to, because we need to finish the cd completely and it will take that long) to come and visit you - and they will pay my airfares and accommodation. Then, after February, we're going to release my cd. It's too late for the Christmas release now.

So I have two very important questions for you, my love. It is important you think carefully before you answer them. I wanted to ask you on the phone, but you dropped out :(

Is it ok if I come to Nigeria to visit you in February?
Will you come back to America with me when I return?

Answer me quick if you can, I might not have much time to email before I go. I will be leaving for the studio in an hour. But I will have my laptop. And just because I love you, I send you another picture. It's the roller-skating disco..

Now, time to introduce a couple more characters. Taryn, my secretary, and Guy Sebastian. I could speak of guy for some hours, however that would be quite boring for you all. So let's just say that I think he is incredible, and leave it at that. :) Oh and he is a beautiful singer. ;) And I think I must have every pic of him that is available on the net. Its funny you should have said that - I am accompanying Guy on his tour - that is his *name*! :) But you do not have to worry, I only have eyes for you. I have waited all my life for you to come along, and I am not going to let anything get in the way of that. Besides, I am like three feet taller than Guy, so I would have to give up my high heels for life, and I just can't do that.. :) And he has bigger hair than me - have you ever seen him? I've got a pic from when he was over here. I'll attach it. Oh, how tall are you? I am 5 foot 10.

But I'll tell you, once you see the pic, you'll know you've got nothing to worry about. He's a lovely lad, very talented, a great singer and songwriter, but he won a talent competition wearing that fro, and now the record company won't let him get rid of it. They call him "the 'fro". lol Look, my rollerskating picture has hair just like his, we could be twins.. :) lol lol.

So I have decided that each performance I will dedicate it to you, and I will sing Butterfly, Will You Fall For Me, and another song I wrote that does not relate to you, Longer. I really want to ask for my kryptonite song back now but it's too late. He's already released it! It's really funny, all the Australians that I have met are very short, Kylie Minogue is just tiny, as well as her sister Dannii. All the Australian actors here are quite small too. It's like a midget race of people. I wonder if they will all be that short when I get there.

I sang my butterfly song and it came out very well. Hey, should I post you a cd while I am in Australia? Do you have a cd player? I'll make one for you on my laptop. I will give my secretary your address, so she can send you the package and I'll give her your email address so she can email you my itinerary so you'll know where I'm going to be. Even I don't have that yet.

I did get some shopping for you. I think you'll like it a lot.. :) But I'm not spoiling the surprise. Send me your studio pic! I hope to get it while I'm in Australia. Hi Baby,

You cook? That's great, because I don't really cook much. My maid Graznya is a great chef though.

Sorry it took me so long to email you, but there was an incident. Nobody told me it was going to take so many hours to get to Australia, and when I found out at Los Angeles that the flight was 16 hours, I had a bit of a meltdown. I couldn't imagine being on a plane that long. It made me feel a bit sick. So Sienna gave me a tablet to help me not feel sick, and as soon as I got on the plane, I fell asleep right after takeoff. You would not believe this, they have *beds* on the plane. It was so comfortable, after all my recent lack of sleep, I just couldnt help it.

Oh, Sienna is my stylist. I also am travelling with Marianne who is my hair and make up guru. We've been talking about going a bit lighter with my hair, and also putting in some major extensions. Oh joy! More time in the hair chair. She and I have decided that we will try for a completely different look for every performance. Maybe some wigs. This might be fun. Yeah, like going to the dentist.

I'm so excited, Guy is coming to meet us at the airport. I haven't seen him since we wrote together six months ago. He and I are very good friends, and we click on a level not previously known among my friends. This would be because NONE of my friends are in the music business, and they don't understand what it is like at all. They think I just go into the studio, sing, and make a nice pretty cd. It isn't that easy, and Guy knows that, so we can bitch about it together.. :) Bitching = bonding.

I tried to call you with the phone on the plane, but I think there must be something wrong, i don't know which end. But it just beeped at me. Have you got my itinerary yet? If so, you're one step ahead of me. I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing. Grr. I have a feeling me and this secretary are not going to get along famously. I had another dream but I can't tell you about it here. Sienna can read every word I am typing. Do you dream about us? Anyway, it's time for first class in flight food, I'll email more if I get a chance.

About my family , my Father is late since 1991 . I was born 25th Dec 1980 . my Mother is still alive and I have 8 brothers but one is late 3 yrds ago . we are now remaining 7 brothers with my Mom and no Girl . I am second to the last among all of us . my most senior ones are all matured mens . my Eldest brother is in Canada . the 2nd one does good business here . the 3rd one is an International Business Trader .. he goes to China to Import goods and sell here . the 4th one has just graduated from University from Science Tech . the 5th is an Evangelsit and I am the 6th . the 7th person is the one that died 3 yrds ago and now the supposed 8th person plays football which is our Last born but now the 7th . I'm sorry, the phone thing isn't working out. I keep trying to call but there must be something wrong somewhere. I'm so upset because I really want to talk to you. BMG are going to try and get you, and then patch you through to me. But, they have diverted my home phone to a mobile phone they have given me, so you could try calling me on that and see if it works? It isn't turned on all the time, and when it isn't it goes to my voice mail. I do turn it off to sleep, I really need my sleep on this tour, and I turn it off when theres a scheduled event.

I suppose if I don't get to speak to you today, it won't kill me. I know your voice, and I can email you with my thoughts.

Darling, I was so happy to open my email box and see this email you have typed me. It is long, so I could look at it and enjoy every word. So what I will do now is send this email with a pic of Guy and I from the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge that they took today. In our free time Guy and I took off without telling them where we were going, because he wanted to show me the view. I have to tell you baby, that was amazing.

Sienna was holding my camera and took another pic at tonight's dinner, I am sending it to you because for the very first time, you get to see the *back* of me. It is now that I realise three things - I have very ugly ears, horrible arms with ugly elbows, and I should buy a better camera. Oh, and I should have eyes in the back of my head, what a funny face Guy was pulling! That's not my real hair, by the way, that's one of those plug on hair extension ponytail things..

He's taller than I remember! But I think it's the fro, it's a lot bigger than it used to be. It must be 3 feet tall at least. Ive never seen so much hair in one place at one time.

I want to answer all the things you said, I might not have enough time but I'll give it a try. I would say that I hate my conditions but it wouldn't be the truth right now. The only thing missing is you. Everyone has been so nice to me, especially Guy. I was a bit worried that things might be weird with us because we were so good friends but hadn't had much of a chance to talk lately, but the minute I walked off the plane, he ran up to me with this huge smile on his face and gave me a big hug. And now it is like we were never away from each other. We even wrote two songs together today in between interviews. I showed him your photo, and he was joking with me about you, telling me that you can grow a fro as big as his, so I better just keep some hair clippers around. :)

The journey was tiring but my day has been so much fun that I've forgotten about it now. While Sienna and Marianne were doing my hair and makeup today, Guy kept running in and singing assorted lyrics to us from his new album. He has this song called "Sweetest Berry" and I don't know what he was thinking when he wrote it, but it is like Craig David's "what's your flava" and it is all about food, so he would run in and just sing one line, with this really sincere "I'm serious, please believe me, I really mean what I'm singing" look on his face. Lyrics like "Your skin is butterscotch on porcelain, my sweet tooth is glad I found you". I think Sienna is crazy about Guy, just quietly. She says he only has eyes for me, but she's joking, of course.

Nobody will ever take you away from me, you know. I'll be there for you, forever. I would like you to tell me great feelings you have on me. I feel that you are with me. I hate all those things you said too. and I like all the things you said, it's clear it was meant to be! Wow, what a huge family you have. I don't have any family at all, except you, and my BMG family. So many brothers! Are they all handsome like you? They can't be, surely. Canada is lovely. I have never been there, but Guy went there before he came to the US and he showed me some photos. What kind of business does your 2nd brother do? Could your 5th brother marry us? I can' wait to meet your mother..

Oh my gosh. I am listening to Guy's first album right now. We swapped cds tonight. I had to stop writing my email because one of his songs that I had never heard before just took my heart away. Do you know sometimes how someone can sing something and really touch your heart, so much so it brings tears to your eyes? It's called Climb Every Mountain - it was in the Sound Of Music, you know that nun in switzerland? I just ran next door to tell him and he was listening to *my* cd which he was about to run out and tell me the same thing about *my* butterfly song. Oh, you have to hear these music.

My butterfly song sends shivers down my spine. I like to listen to it with headphones on, really loud. But I have to be careful with my hearing, it's my career! My favourite line in it is "Every day, I want to be a risk you take, make a promise I will never break, for life" - I wrote that for you, you know. It's so late at night, and so quiet and dark here. Other than the music playing (and I can just hear Guy playing my music from here - hes singing along to a song we wrote together) I have all the lights off, other than the laptop screen. I can see out the windows to outside, there is water out there, we are on Darling Harbor. And I'm thinking of you. And lets be honest, it is HOT. I left the aircon on high heat by accident. So, I'm not wearing much.

I have to get to sleep now babe, but I will try to call you tomorrow. Don't worry, Guy is looking after me for you, and so is Sienna and Marianne. I can't wait to see your pictures! I might have to take all my clothes off when I look at them.. please send them soon! :)

Today we went to the Gold Coast. It is very lovely here, but it is not made of gold. At least, not as far as I can tell.

Guy and I have been talking, and we have decided to room together so we can write in our spare time. You don't have to worry, we have two bedrooms, so we're not sleeping together! But it means that we've got each other for company too.

He got me good yesterday while we were at rehearsals. I was tired, and trying to take a nap on the couch - and he got a photo of me! He gave it to me, and I'm sending it to you. So it's on, baby. The challenge now is for me to get a shot of him sleeping.

I did get him somewhat good today. While he was singing at the afternoon reception, I was right at the front, and I was wearing a top where you could see my cleavage, and I was pretending to flash it at him. I also pinched his camera, and when he was about to laugh yet trying to sing, I pulled it out and got a great pic - I put that in too. Check the look on his face! :)

They did my hair extensions today. They're getting in my way already. I've already managed to shut a door on my hair. It's really hard when you're not used to having long hair!

Anyway, it's late and we have a big day tomorrow. I haven't heard from you at all, do you still love your baby girl?

I showed these to Guy, and he was somewhat not able to speak, kind of like when he sings that climb every mountain song. I'm sorry he couldn't talk to you but he is really out of breath after singing that! We were going to do some backstage things, like talk to fans and stuff, but we cant do it because of that, so we do it before the show.

Hi Baby,

I'm sitting here waiting for your photographs, but I am so tired, I don't think I can stay up anymor elinger.

I'm not too cold, it is quite warm in Australia,. and anytime i need a bit of warmth, I have Guy here to keep me company. He's here with me now and he says hi, albeit with a large evil smelling cold compress on his throat. I though I was lucky, I got to have my massage, physio and cool down with the compress after the show at the convention centre, and I thought he was going to do the same, but no, he wanted to come straight back here as we were in the middle of writing a song, so now there's this evil smelly stuff in our suite. It smells like nothing i can describe. He can't talk, so he's writing stuff down. I hope his throat gets better before the next show.

Oh, Sienna got this really funny shot of him in the Fro Zone today. I thought I would send it to you because I've been lauhging at it ever since. I'm sorry baby i am not correctly my typing today, I just can't be bothered.

You have to understad the hair. Guy's Fro has a life of its own. and also it's own tour bus. Its behind me in the other show I am sending to you today, the big black bus, which is me with the sytle team - sienna is the blonde one. Guy's hair is a mysterious force that is capable of deading people.

Would you grow a fro like this for me baby? I'm starting to find it quite attractive. Not that I can run my fingers through Guy's at all, I've tried, but there's too much product in there. :)

I don't think I look very good in this photo, the sun was in my eyes and I am squinting. Plus they hadnt started on my hair yet, and I think the extensions suck when they look like that, but when they finish styling them they look great. I'm going to cut them off the minute the tour is over, but we are planning some wigs for the next couple of weeks also, so I might be able to do it sooner. I send it so you can see Sienna and Marianne.
